The motivation for this wine stems from my days at Estrella River Winery (1981-1985) where we made a Late Harvest Muscat Canelli and I was fascinated by the rich thick juice that came out of the press. These grapes thrive in our SIP Certified Dos Viñas Vyd where some rows were left for extended ripening before they were picked onto raisin trays to further dehydrate to increase their sugar content. The results produced a very aromatic wine with dried apricot, peach, crystallized ginger, raw honey, and orange blossom in perfect balance. Enjoy after dinner as a dessert or paired with fruit desserts.
